Supplies
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup water
- 1/4 cup salt
- 2 tsp cream of tartar
- 1 Tbsp cooking oil

- 2-3 drops mint extract
- Spoon
- Saucepan
- Glitter
- Shamrock cookie cutter
Steps
- Mix all the ingredients, except glitter, in a saucepan.
- Place saucepan on stovetop and cook over medium heat, stirring often to keep from burning.
- When the mixture begins to form a ball (it usually takes a few minutes), remove the clay from the heat.
- Let the mixture cool completely and place onto a flat surface.
- Flatten the clay and sprinkle the glitter on top. Knead until smooth and the glitter is evenly distributed.
- Use the cookie cutter to create shamrock shapes.
- Store the play clay in an airtight container.
