Leprechaun Binoculars

You can’t go looking for leprechauns without binoculars! Gather everyone together, grab some toilet paper rolls, and make your own pair of magical binoculars.

Supplies

Construction Paper

  • Green
  • Yellow

Additional Supplies

  • Toilet Paper Rolls
  • Pencil
  • Scissors
  • Glue or tape
  • Hole punch
  • Twine or Yarn
  • Sequins, stickers, ribbons
  • Boxes of Lucky Charms (for snacking!)

Steps

  1. Gather the suppliesFlatlay of craft supplies for making binoculars, including green construction paper, cardboard tubes, scissors, hole punch, ribbon, sequins, and tape.

  3. Cover each roll with the construction paper and secure it with glue. Repeat for all your rolls.
  4. Add a strip of glue to the side of one roll and press it against another roll to form your binoculars. Let dry — patience pays off!
  5. Use a hole punch to punch holes on the outside of both tubes about ½” from the top. Thread twine or yarn through one hole and tie a knot.   6. Decorate with sequins, stickers, and ribbons.
