
Leprechaun Binoculars

You can’t go looking for leprechauns without binoculars! Gather everyone together, grab some toilet paper rolls, and make your own pair of magical binoculars.
Supplies
Construction Paper
- Green
- Yellow
Additional Supplies
- Toilet Paper Rolls
- Pencil
- Scissors
- Glue or tape
- Hole punch
- Twine or Yarn
- Sequins, stickers, ribbons
- Boxes of Lucky Charms (for snacking!)
Steps
- Gather the supplies
- Measure the construction paper to fit around the toilet paper rolls. Use a pencil to mark where to cut the paper.
- Cover each roll with the construction paper and secure it with glue. Repeat for all your rolls.
- Add a strip of glue to the side of one roll and press it against another roll to form your binoculars. Let dry — patience pays off!
- Use a hole punch to punch holes on the outside of both tubes about ½” from the top. Thread twine or yarn through one hole and tie a knot. Repeat with the other side to create a strap.
- Decorate with sequins, stickers, and ribbons.
